The Bedroom
With it's odd shape, lowered ceiling, broken lights, and
monochrome walls and ceilings, the room we picked for our bedroom really
felt like an afterthought compared to some of the more well-appointed
rooms in the house.
We're not sure what the thought process was behind the existing matching
broken fluorescents. The far side of each plastic cover had matching
gaping holes which exposed the bare fluorescent light tubes, which lead us
to believe they were salvaged from a dumpster. Humble origins aside, the
quality of light the fluorescents produced was horrible and more often
than not we left the overhead lights off entirely.
