The finished room! Working with the colors already present in the fireplace marble and decorative inlayed floor tile, we bought an oriental style rug for the floor to warm up the room. The oversize filigree mirror above the fireplace increased the play of light throughout the front of the house. The antique Korean armoire looks right at home between the fireplace and the bamboo tree in the window nook, adding to the colonial feel to the room. (see the same view in the previous owner's house)
