Pumpkin Kid Daylily (Hemerocallis x "Pumpkin Kid"), a little African Daisy (Osteospermum), two Vancouver Centenial Geraniums (Pelargonium x hortorum) in the front, the Canna Lily peeks out behind the California Rushes (Juncus patens), which flank the Pygmy Date Palm (Phoenix roebelenil).

The views from the back bedrooms are much improved. The path/litterbox and un-childfriendly roses are gone, and the garden overall finally is starting to feel consistent and pulled together. Beautiful tropical colors and textures are peppered throughout, and mini-redwood bark dumped all over the yard will keep the weeds down.
