A Lecture for the SCAD Digital Media Club and SCAD Contemporary Animation Society
I'm delighted to have the opportunity to talk to SCAD's students and faculty about my experiences working as part of the crew on what might have been the most sophisticated and stylish digital animated feature ever made. As we will see, while it was never completed, the DNA of Frankenstein made its way into several other films. As digital animation has matured and especially as we are weeks away from the release of Robert Zemeckis' photo-real Beowulf, an examination of ILM's unique approach to the medium is especially timely...oh, and it is Halloween!
