Blackberry Cobbler According to InStyle magazine (Aug 1999, pg
254), Tom Cruise finds resisting this dish from Cynthia's Restaurant in
Los Angeles "mission impossible." Ho ho ho. I'm not a berry person, but
I'm saving it for a rainy day to bake for Tad.
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl,
combine blackberries, 1-2 tbsp brown sugar, and cornstarch. Spoon berry
mixture into a 1-cup ramekin. In small bowl combine remaining brown sugar,
flour and butter. Top berries with flour mixture. Bake 40-45 minutes,
until mixture is bubbling. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream (or
soy cream!).
